Inside Citadel in Hue. Vietnam

Feudal dynasty Nguen controled whole Vietnam since 1775. They ruled country from Hue. In 1804 Emperor Gia Long's architectures began to built Citadel with Imperial Enclosure.


Citadel is a fascinating site. Except sightseeing old buildings around everybody can ride an elephant.


Ngo Mon gate was finished in 1833. The emperors used to sit there and observe ceromonies or troops maneuver.
