Hanoi Ngoc Son Temple. Vietnam

Nguyen Van Sieu built a wooden bridge called The Huc 130 years ago. This famous Hanoi's landmark leads to Ngoc Son temple.

The temple is surrounding by souvenir shops.

Pagoda was built on an island to worship soldiers who died in the war and dedicated to the scholar Van Xuong.

Though Ngoc Son on the island of Hoan Kiem Lake is visited daily by hundreds tourist, it is very relaxing place.

The wooden structure is well preserved.

In the morning time there are local residents who practise t'ai chi, a kind of martial art.
