Wat Umong Suan Puthatham. Meditation temple in Chiang Mai.

Wat Umong was found in 14th century. King Mangrai accommodated some monks from Sri Lanka in forest. Today the temple stands within citi's boundaries.

Under the chedi in brick wall there is one tunnel to meditation cells.

You can see Buddha images but some oldest murals in Thailand have vanished.

The temple grounds are covered with damaged Buddha images.

The statue of Buddhadhasa Bhikkhu stands close a lake.
