Murals in Wat Phra Kaew depict Ramakian stories. Paintings were created at the end of 18th century and restored many times since the reign of Rama I. Murals gained by renovations fresh look. Its leading figure except Rama, is Hanuman.
Hanuman became the closest Rama's ally during Ramayana war.
