Myanmar Beer - najlepsze piwo w Azji Południowo-Wschodniej.

Minął już ponad rok czasu od opublikowania mojego rankingu piw Azji Południowo-Wschodniej. Wówczas Myanmar Beer sklasyfikowałem na 7 pozycji.

Duża butelka Myanmar najcżęściej kosztowała w restauracji 1,800 kyat, czyli 5,70 pln.

Po mojej ostatniej podróży po Birmie przyznaje, że Myanmar Beer jest najlepszym piwem regionu.

Piłem Myanmar butelkowe i z kija. Wszystkie birmańskie piwa były doskonałe ( szczególnie czerwony Mandalay i beczkowy Dagon ), ale Myanmar ujął mnie swoim smakiem.

Na olimpiadzie piwnej w San Diego ( USA ) w roku 2004 Myanmar Beer zdobył srebrny medal w kategorii "light lager w tropikalnej strefie". W regionie może z nim konkurować tylko piwo Tiger i Anchor Ice z Singapuru.

Tattoo man with a Nat spirit. Burma

The Shan as well as Burmese people worship Nats spirits.

Many people near Inle Lake have protective tattoos with Nats images. They believe in the great power of their tattoos.

The Nats are often tattooed on their arms.

A tattoo illustrating some magical characters with lucky numbers complements entire composition and reinforces any action of the arms's image.

I found an old monastery on the way to the temple Inn Dein near Inle Lake.

Old brick stupas were painted white.

Some stupas turned into a pile of bricks.
A few ones preserved fragments of bas-reliefs.

Some structure still hosted Buddha statues.
