Na tak wielkim akwenie wodnym plywa kilka statkow i promow. Podroz z Parapat do Tuk Tuk trwa 30 - 40 minut.

Toba Batak are kown for their weaving, wood carving and especially stone tombs.
These days Bataks are Christians but many still practise elements of traditional animist belief and ritual. The old religion of Batak on several main points while sharing an identical concept of the transmigration of the human soul after death.

Lake Toba. North Sumatra. Indonesia
Danau Toba located in North Sumatra is a lake and supervolcano, 100 kilometres long and 30 kilometres wide. Water in the lake is cool and invites to enjoyable bath. The Toba eruption occurred at what is now Lake Toba about 75,000 years ago. The Toba ash layer today is up to 6 meters thick.
